Police are investigating after a 13-year-old girl told her family she was dragged into bushes while walking along an alleyway and brutally raped.
The girl has told her family the rape happened around three weeks ago.
The victim says she was walking along an alleyway close to Anderson Road, in Tilgate, and Desmond Anderson Primary Schoool, when she was approached by a man who asked her if she was OK and then dragged her into some nearby bushes and raped her.
