A PLANNED pedestrian crossing in Broadfield that a pensioner spent two years campaigning for is likely to have to be moved three metres down the road – at an additional cost of up to £35,000.
Funding for the crossing, on Pelham Place, was agreed last October, after Roger Duke, 70, had collected signatures and built up support for one within the neighbourhood.
But the crossing looks set to have to be moved from where it was originally planned, in front of a vacant unit on Pelham...
