A MOTORIST spilled fuel over the forecourt of the petrol station at Sainsbury's yesterday (Monday).
The driver was transferring petrol from one of the pumps to a container when it spilled over the ground at the petrol garage off Crawley Avenue in West Green.
A crew of firefighters was sent from Crawley Fire Station to clear up the fuel and put down sand following the incident at about 12.20pm.
They left the scene 30 minutes later.
