THE number and value of council houses sold in Crawley since 1980 has been revealed at a full council meeting.A written question about the figures had been submitted to the council by Labour councillor for Broadfield North Ian Irvine prior to last Wednesday's meeting.A total of 10,728 council houses had been sold between 1980 and September 30 this year, which had a market value of £576,712,692.50.The amount of discount given to those buying council homes was £249,016,691.
