THE head teacher at Ifield Community College has calmed fears there was a serious incident involving a knife at the school last week.
A number of parents reported that police attended the school last Friday (October 3), with some pupils having told their mums and dads that a group of pupils were threatened by someone wielding a knife.
There were reports of the school going into "lock down" with classroom doors being locked to protect students.
