CHURCHGOERS who saved the life of a Crawley man after he set himself on fire in an attempt to take his own life have been honoured for their heroics.Reverend Calvert Prentis, from St Bartholomew's Church, in Horley, and parishioners Tony Pethers and Ken Meech, were recognised by Surrey Police last month for their bravery.The trio rescued the man in his 20s when they saw him engulfed in flames running across the churchyard, in Church Road, on February 17.Together they acted as quickly as possible...
