DOG owners have been injured by Staffies in separate incidents in Southgate when attempting to protect their own pets.
Sussex Police received a report from a dog owner that her spaniel had been attacked by a Staffie type dog in Southgate Playing Fields, off Southgate Avenue, on Monday (September 29) at about 7.20pm.
As the woman went to pull the staffie dog off her dog, it bit her on the left wrist, causing a small cut.
