FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished a car fire after an engine caught alight while a woman was driving to a school in Crawley.
A crew from Crawley Fire Station was called to the junction of Dower Walk and Gossops Drive, in Gossops Green, just after 8.30am this morning (Thursday) to a report of a vehicle catching fire in the road.
On arrival the firefighters discovered a car well alight with smoke and flames pouring out of the bonnet.
