TWO cats have died following a recent spate of pets being poisoned in the town.
At least five cats are known to have been poisoned in the same area of Broadfield last week.
Two of them have since died as a result.
Vets have reported five incidents of poisonings to police, with the cats coming from around the Kensington Road area.
In each case the poison, thought to be antifreeze or a pesticide, caused kidney failure and neurological damage to the animals.
