FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person trapped in their vehicle following a collision on the Balcombe Road last night (Friday).
The collision, between a van and a car, happened close to Taylors Pitstop garage at around 8.15pm.
The van ended up in a ditch.
Fire crews from Crawley Fire Station were sent to the crash scene in one fire engine and a heavy rescue vehicle.
Police closed the road while firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the person trapped.
