THE AIR ambulance was called into action yesterday (Wednesday) after a seven-year-old girl fell over and hit her head and lost consciousness.
Staff at Southgate Medical Group on Brighton Road phoned for an ambulance at around 3.40pm having been informed of the child's fall.
One ambulance was sent to the scene, as was the air ambulance, which landed in a playground close to the same road in Southgate.
