SCHOOLS across Crawley have begun serving their younger children free meals.As part of a new Government policy, from this term Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils will get a free hot meal every day.Children in these years, who are aged between four and seven, had previously only been offered free school meals if their parents were on benefits or earned less than £16,190 a year.A total of 25,000 pupils could benefit from the policy across West Sussex and the initiative could save parents...
