POLICE have confirmed a man hit by a train at Horley rail station this morning has been killed.
Emergency services were called to the train station at 8.23am today (Thursday) to reports of a person being hit by a train.
Paramedics attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: "Officers attended the incident, which was reported to BTP at 8.23am, alongside colleagues from Surrey Police.
