FIRE fighters from Crawley Fire Station were called to Gatwick Airport earlier today (Sunday), after an aircraft reported a fault while coming into land.
Emergency services were put on red alert at around 3.32pm after the airport reported a "full emergency" – meaning the aircraft may have problems making its descent.
The nature of the fault is currently not known, but the aircraft was able to make a successful landing.
