FIREFIGHTERS at Gatwick Airport have taken part in the ice bucket challenge - but with a difference.
The crew, who operate solely at the airport, each dumped the customary bucket of icy water over their heads but added a water jet for good measure.
The challenge was started as a way to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The idea has gone viral in the last few weeks through social media with high profile celebrities like David Beckham taking part.
