A BURST water main in Broadfield has flooded the street and affected 160 homes, some of which have been flooded.
The main burst at about 10am today in Regents Close and caused chaos for some residents as water rose up and threatened homes.
Two fire engines were sent from Crawley Fire Station to help stop the flow of water and clear up the mess it created.
The crews were called at 10.02am and spent about three hours at the scene, leaving at about 1pm.
