A HIGH Street restaurant has applied for permission to extend its outdoor seating.
The Giggling Squid, a Thai restaurant, currently only has a handful of tables outside.
It wants to add 27 tables, 54 chairs, wind barriers and seven sun umbrellas to its outside area. If given the go ahead it will bring its seating area out in line with that of Prezzo, next door.
A decision on whether to approve the application is expected to be made by Crawley Borough Council on October 3.
