Six fire engines from across West Sussex attended a fire involving a fuel tanker near Gatwick last night (Monday).
The engine of a fuel tanker transporting petrol caught light on a perimeter road of Gatwick between the North and South Terminals at approximately 10pm.
One truck from Crawley Fire Station and five others from across the district attended the scene where fire fighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reels to put out the remainder of the flames.
