FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a home near Buchan Country Park after a water pipe burst and the building began to flood.
An emergency call was made at 7.43pm yesterday (Tuesday) and a fire crew went to the property, at Laundry Cottages, off the A2220 (Horsham Road), in one fire engine.
On arrival they found a ground-floor bathroom flooded.
Firefighters temporarily repaired the burst pipe before pumping the water clear and informing Southern Water.
The fire crew were away from the scene at 8.32pm.
