A FLIGHT was diverted to Gatwick on Wednesday (July 30) after a 48-year-old woman allegedly threw a prosthetic leg and food at cabin crew.
The woman was arrested at the North Terminal on suspicion of using threatening behaviour on the flight from Tunisia to Edinburgh.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said that the woman allegedly became abusive before hurling the prosthetic leg and food at cabin crew.
It is unclear if the prosthetic limb was the woman's or someone else's.
