A MAN was taken to a London hospital after collapsing and suffering head injuries in the early hours of Wednesday (July 16).
The man was found on Kilnmead, Northgate, by members of the public who dialled 999 at 2.51am. Before the ambulance service arrived the passers-by flagged down a police van leaving the police station.
Several emergency service vehicles attended the scene and officers closed the road.
