Just 13 people have signed a book of condolence for Margaret Thatcher which was placed at Crawley's Town Hall last week.
Anyone wishing to pay their respects can visit the main reception of Crawley Borough Council's offices in The Boulevard between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
But so far very few people had chosen to do so.
Baroness Thatcher, the longest serving Prime Minster of the 20th century and the only woman ever to hold the post, died last Monday (April 8) from a stroke.
