A MAN was attacked yesterday evening (July 15) in Northgate and had to be taken to hospital.
Four people have been arrested after the 53-year-old suffered serious head injuries in the attack.
The man, of no fixed address, suffered a deep cut to his head and extensive facial fractures.
He is being treated at the East Sussex Hospital.
