FIREFIGHTERS were called out after two flats in Ifield began to flood on Saturday (July 12).
An emergency call was made at 11.40am and one fire engine was sent to the block of flats on Ifield Drive.
The floodwater affected a first floor flat and ground floor flat.
Firefighters isolated the water and electrical supplies and salvaged what they could from the flats.
They were away from the scene at 11.59am.
