A WOMAN has been pulled out of a river by police after she was spotted wading into the water by members of the public.
They called 999 and officers were able to get to the scene in Horley in time to save her.
Police were called to Riverside Garden Park at 3.30pm yesterday after the woman, in her 50s, was seen going into the water.
The woman was later detained under the Mental Health Act.
