CARS could soon be banned from parking in the pedestrianised part of Crawley High Street during evenings and weekends because of safety fears.Drivers can currently park in that section of the street when visiting restaurants, pubs and shops.Crawley Borough Council wants to stop that so pedestrians feel safer and plans are being drawn up to bring in parking enforcement.A restricted parking zone would be created between the junctions of Pegler Way and Cross Keys.This would not include taxi ranks...
