A PASSENGER had to be taken to hospital this morning after the bus he was travelling on collided with a van in Northgate.
The collision occurred between the bus and a Vauxhall Vivaro on Woodfield Road at about 6.28am.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene and a 39-year-old man was taken to the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill after suffering a back injury.
It is not thought to be serious and the other ten or so passengers on board were unharmed.
