A SCHOOL has honoured a member of staff who died after 36 years of helping children make the best start to their education.Beryl Benstead, 65, fell ill while working at Southgate Primary School on December 19 last year.When her son Anthony went to check on her the following morning, she had died.Staff, parents and pupils have all been devastated by the loss and last Friday a memorial in her honour was unveiled.A water feature has been built in memory of Mrs Benstead, a bursar at the school...
