Waitrose has applied to install chilled cabinets storing food for passengers returning to Gatwick Airport from their holidays.
Arriving home to an empty fridge after a summer break could no longer be a problem for Crawley residents if supermarket plans to put up collection lockers at the airport are approved.
Waitrose has submitted an application to Crawley Borough Council to install cabinets at the long stay car park at Gatwick's south terminal.
