A FIRE crew from Crawley Fire Station helped engineers to secure a lift at the Ibis Hotel near Gatwick last night (Wednesday,) after someone was stuck for half an hour.
The lift had suffered a malfunction at ground floor level at around 8.44pm at the hotel on London Road, when fire fighters attended the scene and helped to isolate the power so the doors could be opened.
The lift became stuck after safety feature kicked in, which stopped the lift from moving.
