CROWDS gathered to watch some rather hairy customers have their annual haircut on Sunday.Alpacas at Ashdown Forest Llama Park, in Forest Row, were given their yearly trim to ensure they do not get too hot during the summer months.It is essential that alpacas are shorn to avoid them overheating when their fleece gets thicker.The East Grinstead Spinners were at the park showing visitors how the alpacas' fleeces are spun into yarn to make beautiful soft and luxurious knitwear.
