POLICE have launched an appeal for help after a woman was found lying unconscious in a lay-by in Manor Royal.
The 18-year-old was discovered by a member of the public on the A23 (London Road), near County Oak Retail Park, at 11.50pm on Monday (June 2).
They called 999 and when an ambulance arrived at the scene the woman was immediately taken to hospital and treated for a cut on her head and fractured ribs.
Police are investigating the possibility she was attacked.
