EAST Surrey Hospital collected more than £800,000 from parking charges over a 12-month period.
Figures released following a Freedom of Information request show visitors to the hospital paid £861,879 in the 2012/13 financial year.
This was almost double the total (£448,874) which was collected four years earlier in 2008/09.
