NEIGHBOURS raised the alarm to the fire service as smoke filled a kitchen in Broadfield while residents were asleep.
Crawley Fire Station received a call at 11pm last night (Friday) from a concerned neighbour who could hear a smoke alarm going off at an address in Heather Walk.
On arrival a crew found the smoke had been cleared after the homeowners had been woken up.
