A BURNING tea-towel sparked a call out for firefighters on Tuesday.
One fire engine was sent to a house on Downland Drive at 6.10pm.
On arrival the fire crew found a tea towel on the hob of a cooker, and the blaze already out.
They inspected the kitchen and gave fire safety advice to the occupier - namely not to leave a tea towel on a hob - before leaving at 6.30pm.
