A MAN has been detained under the Mental Health Act after being talked down from the roof of County Mall by police officers.
Sussex Police received a call at 3.20pm today (Tuesday) to say a lone male was sitting on the roof of County Mall above Debenhams.
The officers spoke to the man and managed to get him away from the edge of the roof. They then detained him under section 136 of the Mental Health Act.
