FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a potential kitchen fire yesterday (May 11).
But when they arrived at the property at Baker Close in Southgate, it became apparent that the smoke filling the kitchen was actually burnt cooking.
Two fire engines had been sent to the scene, having been called at 9.50pm.
Firefighters were there for half an hour.
