THE parents of a two-year-old boy who is one of only four people in the world to suffer from a rare muscle-wasting condition are hoping to raise £40,000 to make sure he can continue living at home.
Sullivan Smith suffers from congenital fibre type disproportion, and while the condition is so rare it only affects 200 people worldwide, his case is rarer still, in that it affects his heart as well as all of his muscles and his breathing. There are only three other people on the entire planet...
