FIREFIGHTERS had to use a ladder to rescue two people from the first floor of a multi-storey car park in Crawley town centre last night (May 9).
Security staff had locked all the doors to the Town Hall car park on Exchange Road, trapping two people inside.
It is unclear exactly how long they were stuck for, but an emergency call was made at 11.45pm.
A fire crew went to the scene in one fire engine and had to use a ladder to rescue the stranded people.
