A SIX-YEAR-OLD Crawley schoolgirl has been praised for her bravery after calling 999 when her mum suffered a severe asthma attack.
Quick-thinking Lauren Parisi, a pupil at St Margaret's CofE School, in Ifield, came to the rescue when her mum fell ill at their Crawley home.
Lauren immediately rang her nanny but when she realised her mum's condition was worsening and she was unable to speak, she did not hesitate to ring 999.
