A fire crew was called to a bomb fire at a house on Silchester Drive last night by a concerned neighbour.
Fire crews attended the house off Horsham Road at 9pm last night after concerns about the size of the flames were reported.
Fire fighters gave safety advice and checked the fire which they found to be under control.
A hosepipe was found in the back garden which residents had put by as a precaution.
