SMOKE from an unattended bonfire was being blown into houses close to Crawley Hospital yesterday evening (Monday).
A crew of firefighters was called out from Crawley Fire Station at about 6.30pm following reports the smoke was affecting several properties.
They used buckets of water to put out the fire, which had been started outside a house in Smalls Mead.
