PART of the A23 London Road remains closed this morning (April 7) after a sink hole reportedly appeared in it.
The northbound carriageway was closed by police yesterday afternoon between Fleming Way roundabout, where Astral Towers is based, and the roundabout for Lowfield Heath, close to Gatwick Airport.
It is likely to remain closed for a week.
A spokesman for Thames Water said that there is a large sewer pipe under the A23 that started leaking.
