A MAJOR road through Crawley has been closed this afternoon after a giant sink hole appeared in it.
It appeared on the northbound side of the A23 dual carriageway (London Road) between the Fleming Way roundabout, where Astral Towers is based, and the roundabout for Lowfield Heath, close to Gatwick Airport.
Police have been at the scene to ensure nobody tries to get through.
Sussex Police have confirmed, when called by the Crawley News, that the northbound carriageway is closed.
