A WARNING has been issued that a potentially deadly smog is heading to Sussex this afternoon.
Though skies this morning (Wednesday) are currently blue and clear some of the worst air pollution to hit the country in years is predicted for later today.
The Met Office has issued an air quality warning for 4pm this afternoon in Crawley - when air pollution will be at level 7.
Levels 7, 8 and 9 mean high air pollution, while level 10 is very high.
