POLICE have revealed that a 13-year-old girl who claimed she had been raped in a Tilgate alleyway has since changed her story and said the attack never happened.
The teenager came forward last May to claim she had been dragged into an alleyway off Ashdown Drive and attacked.
However, it has emerged this week that police are no longer investigating the incident.
Due to her age the girl will not face any charge of wasting police time.
