CRAWLEY Borough Council has backed down today (Monday) and agreed to allow the market to continue running in Queens Square on a Wednesday until the summer.
This Wednesday was set to be the last time the market would ever be held there.
But eight traders are known to have handed in their notice since the decision was taken to kick them out of Queens Square.
