POLICE have taped off an alleyway in the town centre after a woman reported she had been sexually assaulted there last night.
Sussex Police officers and a forensics team are currently at the scene of the alleged assault in Church Walk - an alleyway which connects the High Street with end of The Broadway.
The exact nature of the attack is unknown but a Sussex Police spokesman said it is reported to be of a sexual nature.
