TWO fire engines were dispatched from Crawley Fire Station last night (March 1) after receiving reports of smoke filling a Tilgate kitchen.
An emergency call was made at 6.15pm after the occupants of a property on Oxford Road believed they had seen smoke filling their kitchen.
When firefighters arrived they could find no sign of a fire.
The occupants - a husband, wife and their daughter - had evacuated the property.
