A FORMER college in Wadhurst is set to be turned into housing after the district council admitted it was the only viable plan.Wadhurst College, in Mayfield Lane, which was most recently known as Bellerbys College, has been left unused for about ten years.The owner of the grade two listed building, Crownwood Estates Wadhurst Limited, is currently consulting with Wealden District Council in preparation to submit a planning application to convert it to residential use.Company director Stephen Roots...
